Farrel/Supermac combine technology to serve Indian market
Farrel Pomini says it has entered into an agreement with Supermac Industries (India) Ltd to offer its processing solutions to Indian cable industry and cable compounders. The alignment combines the compounding technology of Farrel Pomini with Supermac’s extrusion lines and equipment, supported by experienced industry professionals.
Under the agreement signed by Paul Lloyd, President, Farrel Corporation, and Vivek Kohli, Director, Supermac Industries (India) Ltd, the partners say that the partnership combines Farrel Pomini’s global technology and engineering expertise with Supermac’s strong worldwide customer relationships, manufacturing capabilities, and industry knowledge.
The synergy of the collaboration will provide cable manufacturers with a coordinated processing solution spanning compounding through extrusion, support by complementary technologies and a team of the industry’s most experienced professionals, to deliver greater value to customers across India’s growing cable industry, the firms add.

Farrel Pomini was established in 2011 following the integration of Farrel Corporation and Pomini Rubber & Plastics Srl into the HF Mixing Group. Farrel Pomini brings together more than 100 years of collective experience in polymer processing, including compounding technology, equipment, engineering expertise and process knowledge.
In 2024, HF Mixing and HF TireTech Group merged to form HF Group.
