US provider of specialised polymer materials PolyOne recently celebrated the official opening of its new facility in Pune, India. The new operations, located in the area’s Ranjangaon industrial zone, manufactures speciality solid masterbatch and liquid colour and additive formulations. The facility also includes development labs and the sales and customer service centre for the region. Products produced at the facility serve multiple end markets, including transportation, healthcare, wire and cable and packaging.

In the opening ceremony event entitled “Come See The Difference,” customers participated in tours, colour matching demonstrations and other sessions that showcased how PolyOne differentiates its products and services in the speciality marketplace.
