Indonesia’s leading synergistic tri-sector exhibitions closed successfully earlier this month, surpassing expectations with robust exhibitor and visitor participation. Indoplas, Indopack (incorporating Indopress) and Indoprint 2014 attracted more than 22,000 quality trade professionals from Indonesia and the region, a 20% increase in visitors from the last edition held in 2012, according to its organisers, Messe Düsseldorf Asia (MDA) and partner PT Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (WAKENI), adding that the three exhibitions showcased an impressive range of technology and innovations that included energy-efficient machinery, the latest equipment and applications, to new solutions and services across the plastics, packaging, processing and printing sectors.
Gernot Ringling, Managing Director of MDA said that the show had the largest line up of 362 companies from 19 countries this year, an increase by 30% from 2012.
The four-day exhibition spanned 13,000 sq m at the event’s venue in Jakarta. Conference and seminar programmes on technologies, best practices, and market trends were also held; these were facilitated by leading industry authorities such as Germany’s VDMA, the Indonesian Packaging Federation, and major firms .
A majority of the exhibitors at the show observed that the show attracted quality visitors and generated good leads.
The Indoplas, Indopack and Indoprint shows will be returning in 2016 at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran from 7 to 10 September.
