2014-2016 Exhibitions
On its 27th edition this year, Plastics & Rubber Indonesia, to be held 19-22 November at the Jakarta International Expo Centre in Indonesia, highlights the strengthened position of Indonesia in the global market, wiith the increased number of participating firms and country representations this year. The plastics and rubber machinery, processing and materials event will incorporate application showcases of DrinkTech Indonesia, PlasPak Indonesia, and Mould & Die Indonesia.
The exhibitions will occupy 7 halls of the exhibition centre, covering over 21,500 sq m of exhibit space. With over 700 exhibiting companies from more than 25 countries, the events will host group pavilions from China, Germany, Italy, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.
According to Wiwiek Roberto, Senior Project Manager for PT Pamerindo Indonesia, the show’s organiser, the event has surpassed the scale of its previous edition, in terms of . record growth, becoming “more international and comprehensive on the scope of exhibits”.
Taiwan, the largest group pavilion at the event, will converge over 72 companies presenting a diverse range of production solutions from injection moulding to extrusion lines to ancillary equipment and more.
China will be represented by 131 exhibiting companies. The companies exhibiting include; Guangdong Designer, Tederic , Ningbo Bole, Guandong Yizumi, Guangzou Xili & Shanghai Jwell.
Italy will also be well represented, according to Samuele Porsia, Trade Commissioner, Italian Trade Commission. Most recognised machine and equipment companies such as Macchi, Amut, Zanbello, Luigi Bandera and Bausano Figli will be connecting with manufacturers in Indonesia on their production needs and requirements, he said.
These international groups will be joined by other leading plastics technology principals and distributors such as Bilplast Grapindo, Cendrawasih, Chen Hsong, LS Mitron, Ria Sarana, Web Control, Woojin Plaimm, WM Wrapping, Karya Taruna, Power Trading, Tederic, Sidel, KHS, R.Bardi, SACMI, Tech Long, Unique, Guangdong Xili, Zhanjiangang, Hy Filling, Sumitomo, First machinery, Totani.
The show organiser advised that the show is strictly open to trade only and are expected to gather 13,500 trade and industry professionals over the duration of the events.
