Effective 1 October, K-Tron, a supplier of feeding, dosing, and pneumatic conveying equipment and systems, will operate under the brand name Coperion K-Tron. Coperion was acquired by US-based Hillenbrand in December 2012. K-Tron has been a part of Hillenbrand’s Process Equipment Group since 2010.

The decision to integrate K-Tron into Coperion represents the next logical step in Coperion’s strategy, began in 2001 with the introduction of the name Coperion. This integrative name expresses the uniqueness of Coperion's position in the market, as Coperion is the only company worldwide to offer complete customised compounding systems and bulk materials handlings systems from a single supplier.
