ZenPure, a US company specialising in the development and manufacture of filtration products, mainly for the life sciences sector has been acquired by Ohio-headquartered Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics.
Established in 2002 in Virginia, ZenPure designs custom filters manufactured in a state-of-the-art plant in Hangzhou, China. The products are marketed and sold globally, and will bolster the range of fluid systems made by Saint-Gobain's Plastics business.
According to Saint-Gobain ,the acquisition is in line with its strategy of strengthening its positions in high-performance solutions on fast-growing markets.
Saint-Gobain has 5,700 employees in 18 different countries and offers a wide range of products such as films, foams, coated fabrics, bearings, seals and fluid systems.
