Partnerships: Azelis/Milliken partner to distribute PU colourant solutions in India; Univar expands partnership with SI Group for distribution of additives in EMEA

Azelis, the reference innovation service provider in the speciality chemicals and food ingredients industry, has announced a new distribution agreement with Milliken & Company in India. Effective immediately, Azelis will be the distributor of Milliken’s polyurethane (PU) colourant solutions for the coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) market.

Azelis customers in India will gain access to Milliken’s Reactint PU colourant solutions offering consistent colour performance, durability, and easy handling.

Milliken expands its reach in the Indian CASE market, supported by Azelis’s strong local presence, technical capabilities, and application expertise.

Azelis was selected for its broad portfolio of specialities, its agility, results-driven culture, and commitment to excellence.

This partnership builds on a long-standing commercial relationship between Azelis and Milliken in the EMEA region and marks a strategic expansion of their collaboration into India. It complements Azelis’s broad product portfolio in the CASE segment in India, enabling Azelis customers to access a more comprehensive range of solutions. 

Milliken’s commitment to sustainability aligns with Azelis’s strategy to provide innovative, sustainable solutions. Milliken’s Reactint® PU liquid colourants support PU foam recycling by enabling higher material recovery without discolouring recovered polyols. The product line also enhances durability and aesthetic performance in industrial and decorative paint applications.

In other news, chemical firm Univar Solutions B.V., a subsidiary of Univar Solutions LLC, has announced an expanded distribution agreement through its Ingredients + Specialties from Univar Solutions division with SI Group, for its portfolio of additives for plastics and adhesives, antioxidants, stabilisers, UV light stabilisers, and impact modifiers, across select EMEA markets.

The growing collaboration between Univar Solutions and SI Group reinforces the companies' commitment to delivering sustainable specialty solutions for the plastics and rubber industries. By pairing SI Group's advanced additive technologies with Univar Solutions' distribution network and technical support, customers will gain streamlined access to a broader range of materials designed to improve durability, efficiency, and environmental responsibility, they add.
