Husky appoints new president and COO
Husky Injection Molding Systems, the world's largest brand name supplier of injection molding equipment and services, today announces the appointment of Dr Jack Truong as President and Chief Operating Officer, effective February 1, 2016. Dr Truong was previously the President and CEO of Electrolux North America and Executive Vice President, AB Electrolux Group.
Prior to Electrolux, Dr Truong, who holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, has had 22 –year career at 3M where he held senior leadership roles throughout the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
As the new helmsman at Husky, Dr Truong will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, and leadership responsibility for executing on Husky’s strategy and priorities.
