Italian extrusion machinery technology provider Macchi is increasing its presence in the Chinese market with the set up of a representative office. It says that the decision was made based on the machines and complete lines sold and that will be delivered during the year of the Horse.
The office will house a Chinese technology expert, who boasts more than 20 years of experience in blown film extrusion using both Chinese and Western machinery. He will be available to provide timely technical advice and after sale services to the local customers, says Macchi.
At the upcoming Chinaplas show in Shanghai in April, Macchi will showcase its patented Recotrim solution for reclaiming in line, without any additional labour requirement, all processing trims and extrusion film scraps simply and efficiently.
The firm waxes lyrical about the line saying that it is “an absolute market bestseller thanks to its unbelievable price/performance ratio.” The unit on display will be the second line to be delivered to a Chinese customer immediately after the end of the show.
