Austria-based Battenfeld-Cincinnati has recently closed a major order of 24 extruders, with diameters ranging from 63 to 93 mm and outputs from 70 to 380 kg/hour, from China’s windows profiles key player Wuhu Conch Profiles and Science Ltd.
WuHu’s mainstay 400 extrusion lines are putting out an annual capacity of 700 tonnes, ranking the company amongst the world’s largest profiles maker for the past four years. It is expected to further dominate the global profiles segment with the new 24-line installations from Battenfeld-Cincinnati.
The Battenfeld-Cincinnati group has production facilities in Germany, Austria and the US. Its facility in Shunde, China has established its presence in Asia. With the current demand for top notch standards in end products, Battenfeld’ s energy efficient and high performance extruders complement WuHu’s target of increasing its output.
