Mold-Rite beefs up cap operations
US-based cap maker Mold-Rite Plastics has recently acquired two cap closure makers: Weatherchem Corp. and Stull Technologies Inc. Weatherchem and Stull are both family-owned and make dispensing closures for the food and beverage, cosmetics, personal care, pet care, healthcare and chemicals markets.
The 27-year old Mold-Rite, which is owned by private equity firm Irving Place Capital, says the acquisitions will help expand its product line and production capabilities as well as broaden its geographic reach.
