Reliance LDPE plant to use Lupotech
India’s Reliance Industries Limited has selected LyondellBasell’s Lupotech T process technology for a LDPE plant to be built at the Reliance refinery in Jamnagar. Key features of the Lupotech T process technology include low manufacturing and investment costs with capacities of up to 450 KTA; fast start up and grade changes; and a high on-stream factor. LyondellBasell says Reliance is its 23rd firm to be granted the license over the past ten years and that it has licensed almost 11 million tonness of licensed capacity to date.
