Unicor sold to industrial group
Germany-based Nord Holding has diversified its majority shareholding in plastic pipe corrugated equipment supplier Unicor to Austrian firm GAW Group Pildner-Steinburg Holding.
Nord Holding bought Unicor from Finland-based pipe extruder Uponor Group in 2005. GAW has holdings in companies for industrial plant construction and engineering in three markets: paper, automotive/industrial solutions and environmental solutions. The group employs 1,300 and generates annual sales of EUR200 million.
