Jomar appoints Song Song as rep for Vietnam
US injection blow moulding machinery (IBM) maker Jomar Corporation says it has signed an agreement with Song Song Company (Ho Chi Minh City) to be its exclusive representative in Vietnam. Song Song will be exhibiting Jomar’s IBM machines at the upcoming VietnamPlas show to be held from 18-21 October 2023 at Booth A359.
“Vietnam is a very active, dynamic market to the plastics industry,“ notes Carlos Castro, President of Jomar. Carlos added that Jomar has “many successful customers” there, and wanted to boost that presence even more through a well-established manufacturer’s representative.
According to Alex Neri, Jomar’s Sales Manager/Asia-US, “Song Song will be an ideal sales and service partner for us. They understand plastics and the Vietnam marketplace.”
Song Song will add Jomar to a roster of over 20 global plastics processing brands under its portfolio. According to Ngan Nguyen, Song Song’s Sales Manager, “Jomar’s injection blow moulding machines give us many excellent production machines for our customers’ bottles and containers.
Having been in the industry for 50 years, Jomar’s range of injection blow moulding machinery caters to the pharmaceutical, health care, personal care, beauty, food, beverage and household products markets.
Some of the world’s most recognised brands such as Gerber’s, Crayola, Merck, P&G Unilever, Avon, Gerresheimer Group and Goya have chosen Jomar to handle their packaging needs, it adds.
Meanwhile, more than half of the injection blow mould machines in use throughout the world today were built by Jomar, according to the company.
