Evosys expands locations in US and China
After what it says was a “successful year”, laser machine manufacturer Evosys was able to expand its premises in Suzhou, China, and moved into its new location in the US. The aim of both branches is to be able to support international customers directly in the region. With their own laboratories and service technicians on site, this is now guaranteed, the company affirms.
Due to rapid growth, the Evosys branch in China has moved to other premises. Barely three years after its foundation, a move became necessary due to a lack of space. The new location offers almost twice as much floor space as before and a better working environment.
In 2018, the branch in China was opened together with the Chinese partner DCT Co Ltd. With its own technical centre, which is equipped with a laser welding machine and the necessary measuring equipment to check weld seams, customers can have test welds performed on components within a very short time. The scope of services is complemented by experienced service technicians who take care of the systems at customers' premises, from commissioning to regular maintenance.
Evosys is also represented in North America and has moved into new premises near Detroit (Michigan, Auburn Hills). The location has a floor space of over 2,400 sq ft, also has its own technical centre and experts on site provide support in all project phases. "At our well-equipped location, we can better accommodate the importance of the North American economy and provide sufficient space for new challenges," explains Frank Brunnecker, Managing Director of Evosys Laser GmbH.
Customer proximity is a decisive factor, because the company pursues the approach of long-term and sustainable customer loyalty, it adds.
