M&As: Chroma Color entity formed; Treofan renamed to Innovia

M&As: Chroma Color entity formed

US firms Breen, Chroma, Carolina, and Hudson Color are combining their technical capabilities, manufacturing capacity and geographic footprint into one business entity to be known as Chroma Color Corporation.

The four companies will start operating as a single entity to provide the plastic marketplace with high-quality products and services. The new business platform is designed to support continued growth and customer expansion in a dynamic marketplace.

Chroma Color Corporation produces colour concentrates and for over 40 years it has catered to markets such as: wire & cable, packaging, building & construction, consumer, medical, healthcare, lawn & garden, durables, sanitation, recreation & leisure, transportation and more.

In other news, film maker Treofan Americas is getting a new name following its acquisition by Canada’s CCL Industries Inc. It will transition to become Innovia Films, and is rebranding with a new logo.

"The purpose is to unify the new larger company which has a broader global footprint and to align the branding closer to the CCL corporate styling," the company said.

Innovia Films was acquired by Toronto-based CCL in 2017, and Treofan was acquired earlier this year.
