Pexco to acquire Massachusetts-based flexible tubing producer
Pexco, a leading North American specialty plastics extruder, is acquiring Insultab, a manufacturer of heat shrinkable and non-shrink tubing products based in Woburn, Massachusetts.
Insultab’s4,645 sq m Woburn facility houses its multiple extrusion lines and custom-designed expanders operations, along with a variety of downstream value-added services.
The Insultab acquisition will be Pexco’s second under its new ownership, having acquired Custom Extrusionin August this year. Earlier this year, Pexcoby AEA Investors, the global private equity group.
Based in Atlanta, Pexco has multiple plants across the US and Mexico.
