Era Polymers to open North Carolina manufacturing facility
Era Polymers Pty Ltd, an Australian polyurethanes products manufacturer is investing US$9.2 million to open a production facility in Stanley, North Carolina. At the new facility, Era Polymers will be producing products for the European, South American and the Canadian markets. The 140,000-sq ft was formerly occupied by Dutch-owned Royal DSM NV. The company currently manufactures polyurethane systems in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
The company’s products include polyurethane elastomers, foams, coatings, machinery, and toll manufacturing of polyurethane chemistries.
