PolyOne to build facility in the Middle East
Specialised material supplier PolyOne will invest US$14 million to set up a facility for colour concentrates in the Middle East, through its joint venture with EA Juffali & Brothers.
The US company says the joint venture will enable it to expand its colour and additives and business into the Middle East. To be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the new joint venture will be 51% owned by PolyOne.
With investment to be phased over the next one year, the intended facility has the potential for expansion into other product lines in future phases.
This month, PolyOne also announced the acquisition of American supplier of additives and liquid colourants ColorMatrix.
