Gloucester acquires IBC supplier

S extrusion machinery maker Gloucester Engineering, which is owned by portfolio company Blue Wolf Capital Fund, has bought IBC equipment supplier Future Design of Canada.

Among Future Design's products are its Saturn and Perfect Balance air rings, evacuation systems, collapsing frames and narrow web and laboratory lines.

The Saturn technology controls air flow and cooling and was originally offered as a retrofit option. The technology has extended from two lips to three-lip designs with automation for better control.
