Davis-Standard stretch film line to Indonesia

S-based extrusion machinery supplier Davis-Standard has sold its second stretch film line to Singapore-based Golden Swan's Indonesian subsidiary, PT Dwi Indah.Slated for shipment at the end of September, the line will support the group's diverse offering of packaging films and bags. This is the second Davis-Standard stretch film line purchased by the group. The first line was installed at Golden Swan, a manufacturer of shrink film, stretch film, LDPE/HDPE bags, LDPE builder rolls and pallet covers.
The new line will produce jumbo rolls for subsequent slitting and rewinding into hand wrap rolls as well as machine wrap rolls.
Davis-Standard supplies multi-layer stretch cast film systems in widths from 2-5 m and line speeds from 457-610 m/minute. Typical products range from 35 to 300 gauge films. Winding systems feature fully automatic roll and core handling systems.
