Coperion acquires majority stake in PELL-TEC

operion has acquired a majority stake in another German firm PELL-TEC Pelletizing Technology, thereby extending its portfolio with the addition of strand pelletising and strengthening its one-stop supply.

It is now also able to supply tailor-made pelletising solutions for small and medium-sized compounders. Established over ten years ago, PELL-TEC supplies pelletising systems to the plastics processing and recycling industry. It covers the entire pelletising process from melt discharge through to the ready-to-use pellets. Both companies had been working together for a number of years.
