The SURPASS IGs153-A resin is a lightweight, high purity performance resin for bottled water and beverage applications. In addition, the resin is fully recyclable and supports short-height industry bottle finishes that offer the brand owner up to 40% reduction in resin compared to standard closure designs, allowing for material reduction that equates to lower energy consumption and carbon emissions.

The resin is intended for injection and compression moulded caps and closure applications. Nova also supplies resins for dairy, juice, home and office delivery water and dispensing beverage closures.
