Sumitomo expands machine range

umitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery of Germany has expanded its hydraulic injection moulding machine series to include a 1,300-tonne model. The company will also introduce a 2,000-tonne model later this year.

The Systec 1300 is available in three configuration levels of Basis, Smart or Performance. Up to a clamping force of 120 tonnes, the Systec comes with an all-hydraulic clamping unit, from a clamping force of 130 tonnes with a toggle clamping unit. The Systec series will be available with clamping forces of from 25-1,300 tonnes from now.
