Taiwanese/Italian jv to cater to Chinese demand

aiwanese auxiliary equipment supplier Shini has teamed up with Italian Syncro Corporation to establish Shini-Syncro Extrusion Process Control in Dongguan, to supply extrusion and auxiliary equipment to China and the Asian markets.The products to be supplied include gravimetric blenders equipped with yield gram or weight/meter controllers, loss-in-weight metering devices and loss-in-weight blenders; cooling air rings for blown film machines and on-line thickness film measuring systems.
Shini says the joint venture will cater to China's annual sales volume of extrusion equipment that is worth RMB30 million, including 10% of auxiliary equipment amounting to RMB0.3 billion. The annual import volume of extrusion equipment is over RMB2 billion, including 30% of auxiliary equipment amounting to RMB0.6 billion.
