This technology provides a unique soft touch effect to the tub while decreasing weight by 13%. The brand owner, designer and moulder was Germany's Paccor Packaging; the machinery from Netstal and the tooling from Plastisud.

Suitable for thin wall packaging, MuCell can reduce material viscosity by 10% wall thickness by 9% and lower clamp tonnage by 30% by using the gas expansion. The enhanced design freedom allowed for the thickest wall section at end of fill (sealing lip functionality). The new container produced from this application met all compression and drop tests.
