Set up for R&D in China

S-based ExxonMobil Chemical has officially opened its US$90 million Shanghai Technology Centre in Zizhu Science-Based Industrial Park.
The firm said it will help it to work more closely with its Asian customers on products and tailor made solutions for the local market.
The 27,000 sq m facility contains advanced analytical and testing laboratory equipment and commercial-scale product processing equipment, including blown and cast film extrusion, injection moulding, compounding and packaging. The facility is ExxonMobil Chemical's third largest technology centre in the world.
