US-based extrusion machinery maker Gloucester Engineering and Italy-based Dolci Extrusion will share winding technology and offer customers a choice of either Gloucester or Dolci winders for cast stretch film.

The firms say that both companies want to better serve customers by giving them an alternative winder choice. “The winders of Gloucester Engineering and Dolci are complementary in application, cost and functionality and both companies can better serve customer needs in specific circumstances,” said the firms.

The firms also say that the agreement, which is effective immediately, “strengthens the competitiveness of shared offerings around the world while leveraging the service capabilities of our companies.”
