Automatik spreads its wings
Pelletising equipment supplier Automatik Plastics Machinery has set up two subsidiaries in Asia: in China and Malaysia.

Having been in China since 1994, the German company has since then opened a number of sales and service centres throughout the country. These will be integrated with the new corporate facility it recently set up in Shanghai. The company says it will be able to serve customers faster and more efficiently, with all of its sales and service activities under one roof. Automatik delivered its first strand pelletiser to China in 1969, which is still in operation.

Meanwhile, in Malaysia, the company has also opened a rotor resharpening centre, adding on to the two it has in Shanghai and Taipei.

Automatik says it has delivered around 500 pelletising systems in Southeast Asia.

Sandwich layers, a 10% slip layer, and a 10% cling layer. Production speed is up to 450 m/min.
