PRI: FCS to showcase all-electric/multi-cavity machinery
Taiwanese machinery maker FCS will highlight two major integrated solutions: its all-electric precision moulding and high-speed multi-cavity mass production machinery at the ongoing Plastics, Rubber, Packaging Machinery & Materials Exhibition (PRI 2025) show being held from 19-22 November.
The integrated production process includes injection, take-out, and conveyor systems to automated packaging, all designed to maximise productivity and stability.
The high-speed multi-cavity, automated production line for food/consumer packaging will be shown moulding a PP spoon in a64-cavity mould.
The SA-350 outward toggle injection machine is a one-shot solution designed for high-volume mass production featuring the following:
- Approx. 10-second cycle time
- Servo closed-loop injection control to ensure consistent shot weight and product stability
- Outward toggle design optimising clamping force distribution, improving mould life and system stability
- Shortened clamping unit by 23% for plant layout efficiency
- Integrated moulding with take-out, conveying and packaging in one streamlined production line
Meanwhile the all-electric machine, which offers a clean operation, low energy consumption, and rapid response, is targeted at optical, medical & high-performance applications. It features the following:
- Injection control precision up to 0.01 mm
- Closed-loop pressure control algorithm to improve moulding stability
- Tie-bar-less design for reduced wear and contamination risks
- Approx. 38-second cycle time
Both production lines will be equipped with the FCS iMF 4.0 Smart Manufacturing System, providing real-time insights into:
- Production data and yield tracking
- Energy consumption per shot and trend analytics
- Equipment utilisation and line stability monitoring
Through transparent and data-driven management, iMF 4.0 helps customers enhance equipment performance, reduce energy usage, and advance toward a low-carbon smart factory, says FCS.
